/ Mountain biking
My bike has been just about the favourite thing in my life for over 18 years. Which was reason enough to turn my passion into my career and to share it with others. I can combine my experience as a professional racer and riding technique coach and I'm a trainer in DIMB's German national mountain bike training team. I've been a national and international MTB racer since 2004, initially in cross-country and marathon before changing discipline to enduro in 2014. In 2014 I won the BiiVOUAC team stage race and finished 2nd in the Shimano Epic Enduro. I'm looking forward to the 2015 season and its challenges: Enduro World Series, Trans Provence, Megavalanche...AWESOME!
I really love the Zebra light glasses - I did the Shimano Epic Enduro last year with it. It's a long Enduro race in the south of france with 95 km, 4200 uphill 8 timed stages and a start at 5 o'clock in the morning. Just one pair of sunglasses for one day! We raced the first stage in the dark with lightning, the zebra light lenses were perfect also during the race e.g. around noon when the sun was really powerful or in the evening when it was dark in the forest before sunddown. 13 hours on the bike - a great adventure race and one pair of glasses for it.
