Billy Besson and Marie Riou world champions
In Clearwater, Florida, took place the Nacra 17 World Championship. The french crew, Julbo Athletes, Billy Besson and Marie Riou claim the world champion title.
A great news come from USA, after 5 days racing and before the medals race the pair Billy Besson and Marie Riou are 48 points ahead of the second crew. They have separated themselves enough from the pack that even with a perfect day for the any of the close competitors, they mathematically take their fourth world title.
"We are really happy with our performance thus far, especially after three long days. We lost a lot of places after the first upwind in that race, but we came back and back, ending eleventh, so to us it wasn't really a bad race." explains Marie.
Great achievement for Julbo athletes who claim in Clearwater a fourth world champions title in a row !
See you in August champions!
