Michi Wohlleben

Fortune favors the brave regardless of their age

Although he never planned to be a "pro", Michi Wohlleben started to climb and wander the mountains from an early age. Little by little, his ambitions started to crystallize. Michi is a man in a hurry and he climbs mountains at high speed, paragliding back down if necessary. At the age of 21, he became the world's youngest high mountain guide. His list of exploits continues to grow, not only in climbing but also ice climbing and mountaineering.

He achieved three world firsts in 2017:

  • "Strib langsam": a mixed route reputed to be the hardest in the world
  • "Tre Cime Winter Traverse": a line in the sky above the Dolomites with 5 peaks enchained in 9.25 hours
  • "Parzival": an 8b climbing route which remained unconquered for many years until Michi had a go.

Michi never fails to impress and his story has only just begun.
