LENS BLANKS THE BEST LENSES FOR SPORT
Our raw materials consist of Julbo RX Trem lens blanks made from NXT® or PC. These materials are light, low density and ultra-tough. This makes them ideal for sports and outdoor activities. All Julbo RX Trem lenses are treated with in-mass technology. Color, photochromic technology and polarizing filters are protected because the entire depth of the lens is treated; a guarantee of optimum durability and resistance.
SURFACING: THE SECRET FOR AN ALMOST IMMEDIATE ADAPTATION
To offer the best lens designs, Julbo now has its own surfacing and polishing laboratory equipped with the latest digital technologies. Point by point surfacing technology of RX Trem lenses allows integration of a compensating prism in the surface finish to offer clear and comfortable vision in every direction.
COATINGS: A GUARANTEE OF OPTIMUM DURABILITY
Hardened, oil-repellent, water-repellent, anti-reflective, flash finish, etc. To offer the best possible surface coatings, Julbo has incorporated a special lens treatment unit in the laboratory. Once surfaced and polished, the lenses are treated to guarantee the best long-term performance and reliability.
LENS CUTTING CUSTOM-CUT FOR THE BEST FIT
The Julbo RX Trem lab also includes a lens cutting workshop. After surfacing, polishing and surface treatment, each lens is custom-cut for perfect adaptation to the target frame.
ASSEMBLY A PERFECT FIT FOR 100% ADAPTATION TO OUR FRAMES
Immediately after cutting, the lenses of each pair of RX Trem sunglasses are fitted in our workshop. A final inspection is carried out before packaging to check conformity of assembly.
RX TREM CARD: ULTRA-PERFORMANCE GUARANTEED
All RX Trem frames are covered by a three-month adaptation guarantee. Each wearer has their own personalized card equivalent to an ID card of their vision..
