Krissy Moehl

The first ever UTMB®

In Europe, Krissy Moehl was the first woman to win the UTMB® at its inaugural edition in 2003. She did it again in 2009. But looking only at her results in Europe would miss the bigger picture.

In 2017, after 17 years on the ultra-running circuit, Krissy has taken part in more than 100 ultra-marathon races and totaled 55 victories, including 2 outright wins! To date, she has only ever abandoned twice.

Her trophy cabinet includes wins on the Hardrock 100, Ultra-Trail Mt. Fuji, Cascade Crest 100, Wasatch Front 100 and Vermont 100.

Organizer and coach

Krissy is race director of the Chuckanut 50k in Fairhaven (Washington State), and in fall 2017, together with our Julbo USA colleagues, she's holding a training camp near Richmond, Vermont.
She's also written a book, "Running Your First Ultra", a training guide for getting to the finish line!
