When did you start your sport? How did you get into it?
I started racing XC as training for alpine ski racing. I ended up being more successful in it and started riding full time. A couple years ago I switched to enduro and this year I fully switched to downhill racing!
The greatest challenge and gift your sport has provided.
Resilience! No doubt, bike racing / being an athlete will teach you to be resilient. Plans change, budgets sink, injuries happen... you have to adapt and overcome!
Fun fact that most people would never know about you.
I'm the equivalent of a Jack Russell puppy really. I'm quite loud and hyper, but anyone who met me knows about that.
Why Julbo? What is most appealing about Julbo as a brand? What excites you about the brand? What separates Julbo from other eyewear companies?
A company that care about the riders, genuinely nice people!
Sweet or salty?
Sweet. Ice cream and fruits all day.
One piece of advice for someone looking to get into the sport competitively, professionally, etc.
First, enjoy it. Second: Race and enjoy it. Third: Be professional, work hard and enjoy it.
When not training or traveling for your sport what do you like to do?
I'm a full time kinesiology student at University and I enjoy cooking and baking for people.
