A Monumental Challenge
This year’s Étape du Tour de France route was a monumental challenge, stretching over the roads of the 20th and penultimate stage of the Tour between Nice and the Col de Couillole. With its 132 km and an impressive 4,600 m of elevation gain, this stage tested the determination and resilience of both professional and amateur cyclists.
However, it wasn’t just the difficulty of the course that defined this edition, but also the incredible team and family spirit that shone throughout the event. Cyclists showed unwavering commitment, supporting each other in the face of the road’s challenges, sharing their strength and determination to reach the summit.
Highlights of the Event
Family Spirit
The team demonstrated exceptional cohesion, perfectly illustrating the saying “unity is strength.” Every cyclist played a crucial role, encouraging teammates during tough moments, sharing advice and motivation, and celebrating every small victory together. This family spirit allowed everyone to give their best and overcome the toughest challenges.
Effort and Resilience
The 132 km of the course were far from a leisurely ride. Every climb, every turn, and every descent was a true test of strength. But thanks to rigorous preparation and iron willpower, the cyclists rose to the challenge brilliantly. Their constant effort and ability to push their limits inspired all spectators and supporters.
Support and Solidarity
Throughout the race, gestures of support and mutual aid were everywhere. Whether sharing water, helping fix a flat tire, or simply offering a word of encouragement, the cyclists showed that true sportsmanship lies in camaraderie and helping one another.
