Martina Cumerlato

My name is Martina Cumerlato, I am 27 years old and I come from a small village at the foot of the Pasubio massif. In 2020, I earned my trilingual degree in industrial and mechanical engineering in Bolzano. After my studies, I moved to Ortisei, in Val Gardena, where I currently live and work as a full-stack web developer.

Sport has always been part of my life. I started playing football at the age of 7 and practiced it passionately until my early twenties. Afterwards, I chose a different path, moving away from pitches and getting closer to the mountains.

Seven years ago, I discovered trail running. What started as a simple passion quickly became a true way of life. Exploring new trails every day and feeling a new sense of freedom pushed me to dream bigger and to set ambitious goals. A year later, I took up ski mountaineering, making winter a new ground for competition and progress.

I am always looking to push my limits, both as an athlete and as a person.
