Yannis Pelé is one of those athletes whose journey goes far beyond the boundaries of sport. From a very young age, he experienced mountain biking as a total playground, driven by speed, freedom, and commitment. But in 2016, his path changed abruptly: a severe crash during competition left him with two fractured vertebrae and a medical diagnosis that seemed final — he would probably never walk again. Where many would have given up, Yannis refused to accept this verdict. He held on to a deep inner belief: his future would not be dictated by statistics or prognoses. Thus began an extraordinary inner battle, where mental strength became his main driving force.
Every day, he visualized, repeated, and set himself simple yet vital goals: move a toe, stand up, take a step forward. Driven by unwavering determination, Yannis gradually went through every stage of his recovery: he learned to walk again, then got back on a bike, slowly rediscovering the sensations that have always defined who he is. This rebirth became the core of his creative projects.

Through Beyond Prognosis, he shares his journey without filters, exploring doubt, pain, and resilience in a raw and deeply human way. With World Tour, he extends this approach by traveling across France and its diverse landscapes, discovering exceptional places and exploring the connection between performance, mindset, and freedom. Today, Yannis Pelé is not just a rider — he is a storyteller, an explorer of what is possible, convinced that movement, whether physical or internal, is a victory in itself
