Élise Poncet is a multi-disciplinary athlete driven by a deep passion for the mountains in all their forms—trail running, alpinism, climbing, and skiing—and guided by a contemplative yet intense vision of performance. Originally from Paris but deeply connected to the mountains since childhood, she has turned this bond into a way of life, standing out early in trail and skyrunning competitions, notably with a second place at the Trofeo KIMA 2024 and a silver medal at the World Mountain Running Championships.

In May 2025, Élise made history by setting a new women’s record for the ski ascent of Mont Blanc in 6 hours, 54 minutes and 47 seconds, a performance combining endurance, technical skill, and boldness. Beyond her sporting achievements, she is pursuing a rich personal journey, including attempting the qualifying exam to become a high-mountain guide, while reflecting on how to balance athletic ambition, knowledge sharing, and a well-rounded life.

In a still largely male-dominated environment, Élise promotes an open, collective, and passionate approach to the mountains, convinced that performance and personal fulfillment go hand in hand.
