To support the growth of the brand in German-speaking markets (DACH), we are looking for a Sports Marketing Specialist for Germany, with a strong interest in athletes and Event Management.

 

THE ROLE - SPORTS MARKETING SPECIALIST GERMANY

Within the Marketing department and in close collaboration with the DACH team and Julbo HQ, you will be actively involved in:

·Events management 

·Athlete & sponsorship management and activations

·Partnerships & Professional Mountain Network (Germany)

You will operationaly report to the Marketing Manager DACH & get strategic orientations and guidance from the International  Sportsmarketing Manager (HQ).

Your main missions:

1. Event Marketing & Field Activation Germany (B2C & B2B)

·Event strategy: define the German event plan, select key events, build the calendar and budget, and present the strategy to Marketing Manager DACH and other internal teams.

·Stands & activations: ensure the brand’s presence at events, set up activations and animations, and guarantee strong brand visibility.

·Organization & logistics: manage stand bookings, on-site logistics, brand presentation and key messaging on the field; coordinate team presence and on-site sales at events.

·Follow-up & reporting: produce post-event reports, manage the DACH event kit, and track feedback and business opportunities.

·Support sports sales teams: assist with in-store test days, retailer and store trainings, manage equipment, and update the Munich showroom with new collections.

 

2. Athlete & Sponsorship Management

·Manage day-to-day relationships with sponsored athletes, acting as the main point of contact between the athletes and Julbo.

·Oversee athlete contracts: support contract preparation, ensure proper follow-up, compliance, and renewals in coordination with Julbo HQ and Marketing Manager DACH 

·Manage and monitor athlete product allocations, ensuring consistency with contracts and brand strategy.

·Track and monitor athlete deliverables (content, event presence, visibility), ensuring alignment with agreed objectives.

·Maintain and update athlete profiles and content on julbo.com.

·Maintain and update athlete database within the int. Julbo structure

·Handle and assess sponsorship requests from athletes and partners in Germany

·Research, identify, propose, and develop new sponsorship and ambassador opportunities aligned with Julbo’s sports marketing strategy.

·Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, communication) to activate athletes across events, content creation, and campaigns.

·Collect, organize, and report on athlete content, performance, and ROI, contributing to overall sports marketing reporting.

·Contribute to influencer campaigns (cycling / bike sports)

·Coordinate content from German athletes

·Follow-up and report Budget and expenses in a precise and timely way.

 

3. Partnerships & Professional Mountain Network (Germany)

·Develop and manage strategic partnerships in Germany with federations, ski resorts, mountain associations, clubs, and institutions.

·Act as the main contact for professional mountain partners (instructors, guides, ski schools, patrols, mountain professionals).

·Support and develop sales activities towards mountain professionals in Germany, contributing to both brand visibility and revenue generation.

·Identify, propose, and activate new partnership opportunities aligned with Julbo’s sports marketing and brand strategy.

·Coordinate partnerships across events, field activations, and content creation.

·Ensure proper follow-up of partnerships: agreements, visibility, product allocation, and reporting.

·Monitor and report on partnership performance, brand exposure, and business impact (image & turnover).

·Support Marketing Manager DACH and salesforce with growing and optimizing pro sales

 

Your Profile:

·Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, Sports Marketing or a related field

·First experience in sports marketing or event management is required

·Strong interest in sports, communication and brand activation

·Passion for sports, outdoor and mountain environments

·Organized, curious, proactive, and eager to learn

·Able to work independently, while enjoying teamwork and field activities

·Positive, open-minded attitude with good interpersonal skills

·Proven strong communication skills

·Ability to work within a multicultural and international environment

 

Skills & Requirements

German : native level

·English : professional working level

·Willingness to travel up to 60% within the DACH region

·Willingness to work on weekends (up to 25% of weekends, compensated with time off)

·Valid driving license

Zur weiteren Stärkung unserer Marktpräsenz in der DACH-Region suchen wir zum 1. April 2026 einen engagierten Sports Marketing Specialist (m/w/d) mit Schwerpunkt Eventmanagement, Athleten- und Partnermanagement. In dieser vielseitigen Rolle übernehmen Sie operative und strategische Verantwortung für zentrale Sportmarketing-Aktivitäten in Deutschland.

Reporting Line

Sie berichten operativ an den Marketing Manager DACH und arbeiten eng mit dem International Sports Marketing Manager (Headquarter) zusammen.

Ihre Aufgaben

1. Eventmarketing & Field Activation (B2C & B2B)

·Konzeption und Umsetzung der nationalen Eventstrategie inklusive Budgetverantwortung

·Auswahl relevanter Leitmessen, Sport- und Community-Events

·Planung, Buchung, Organisation und Steuerung von Messeauftritten und Markenaktivierungen

·Sicherstellung einer konsistenten Markeninszenierung vor Ort

·Koordination der Teampräsenz und des Vor-Ort-Verkaufs bei Veranstaltungen

·Erstellung von Performance-Reports und ROI-Analysen

·Unterstützung des Vertriebsteams bei POS-Aktivierungen, Testtagen und Händlerschulungen

2. Athleten- & Sponsoring-Management

·Ganzheitliche Betreuung gesponserter Athlet:innen als zentrale Ansprechperson

·Vorbereitung, Abstimmung und Monitoring von Sponsoringverträgen

·Steuerung von Produktzuteilungen gemäß Vertrag und Markenstrategie

·Tracking vereinbarter Deliverables (Content, Eventpräsenz, Sichtbarkeit)

·Pflege und Aktualisierung der Sportlerdatenbank innerhalb der internen Julbo-Struktur

·Bearbeitung und Bewertung von Sponsoringanfragen von Sportlern und Partnern in Deutschland

·Identifikation und Entwicklung neuer Markenbotschafter:innen

·Steuerung und Aktivierung von Influencer- und Cycling-Kampagnen

·Budgetplanung, -kontrolle und Reporting

·Analyse von Performance-Kennzahlen und Sicherstellung der Zielerreichung

3. Partnerschaften & Professional Mountain Network

·Aufbau und strategische Weiterentwicklung von Partnerschaften mit Verbänden, Skigebieten und Institutionen

·Betreuung professioneller Partner (Bergführer, Skischulen, Guides, Patrouillen)

·Unterstützung und Ausbau des Pro-Sales-Segments

·Vertragsmanagement, Produktallokation und Erfolgsmessung

·Bewertung von Markenexposure und kommerziellem Impact

Ihr Profil

·Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Marketing, Kommunikation, Sportmanagement oder vergleichbar

·Mindestens erste einschlägige Berufserfahrung im Sportmarketing oder Eventmanagement

·Ausgeprägtes Markenverständnis sowie Affinität zu Sport- und Outdoor-Themen

·Strukturierte, eigenverantwortliche und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise

·Hohes Organisationsgeschick und analytisches Denkvermögen

27K€-30K€ euros annual fixed salary + 2% commission on TO invoiced + 5% evolution TO invoiced + MBO

Mission – What will you do?

You will act as the link between our field sales representatives in Germany and the Julbo marketing team. Your mission will be to better connect marketing tools with local sales needs and ensure that our brand is properly represented on the ground.

Your key objectives:

Analyze the German-speaking markets and collect feedback from the sales team

  • Build and adapt marketing strategies and tools based on local needs
  • Coordinate and implement trade marketing tools: POS materials, window displays, training supports, events
  • Update and localize communication assets in German
  • Support the reps with better marketing execution at events and in stores
  • Identify communication levers that are effective for the German-speaking audience
  • Help understand why Julbo’s current marketing tools are underused in the DACH market and propose improvements
  • Bridge the gap between Sales needs and Marketing tools

 

Field visits:

You will travel to Germany (and possibly Austria or Switzerland) for store visits, trade shows, or events, in order to:

  • Observe the field reality
  • Gather direct feedback from reps and retailers
  • Assist with event setup and brand presence
  • Ensure proper use of marketing tools and collect improvement ideas

Tasks include:

  • Collect POS material orders from DE clients (possibly for 2026)
  • Coordinate production and delivery of the POP and POS materials
  • Maintain and update the local event calendar
  • Build a list of DACH athletes and manage their presence on julbo.com
  • Collect content from athletes and ensure publication online
  • Follow up on orders for Snowboard Germany and SwissSki (Oct)
  • Handle incoming sponsorship requests from the DACH region
  • Assist with content management and marketing exposure of DACH athletes
  • Support reps in building better-quality stands at events
  • Help coordinate trade show logistics in Germany from product preparation ot booth set-up and dismantle
  • Assist reps with their marketing activation
  • Collaborate with graphics designers for window display installations
  • Help define and implement the emailing strategy in German Support B2B emailing offer/animation
  • Assist in defining trade marketing needs and producing relevant tools
  • Build sales support tools (training, flyers, sales arguments, product presentations) Create Sales arguments for key products semgents and key accounts ready to use by sale
  • Identify communication opportunities to strengthen Julbo's presence in the region
  • Share market norms not filled yet by Julbo
  • Start local communities activation and partnership in Cycling and Moutain sports (Bavaria)
  • Build a network of influence in Cycling to spread Julbo brand presence
  • Strenghten Julbo's presence among top athletes
  • Create/adapt german tutorial video and content to appeal to local market

Profile:

  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Good command of German (preferred or native)
  • Interested in both sports marketing and trade marketing
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working with various stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region
  • Passion for sports and the outdoor world is a big plus
  • Basic graphic design, content management, or CRM/emailing tools are a bonus
