Passionate
Ludo fell in love with cycling as soon as he received his first bicycle. At the age of four, all he wanted was to spend as much time in the saddle as possible. Just thirty-six months after his first rides, he discovered downhill riding on TV and voraciously read mountain biking magazines. In his teenage years, he threw himself into DH and enduro at the same time. This passion became embedded in his DNA. His fate was sealed: his life would forever be set to the rhythm of the ride.
Authentic
Guided by Florian Golay at the beginning of his career, he took off in 2011, earning a top-twenty spot at the Champéry World Championships in the elite category. Despite this clear success, he was drawn to enduro following the birth of the Enduro World Series. This competition format proved a better fit for his riding style and his thirst for adventure. Living close to Verbier, he naturally connected with renowned photographers and filmmakers. A nature and wildlife enthusiast, Ludo left competition in 2017. He embarked on projects to send the following message: you can achieve amazing things without always chasing performance. Ever smiling, this native of the Val de Bagnes has stayed true to his region without being confined by it. Promised an exchange with locals, narrow or exotic trails, he never hesitates to set off around the world on his mountain bike.

Ludo & his bike
Nicolas Falquet approached Ludo to create the web series Ludo & his bike about ten years ago. Over thirteen episodes, we get to see a different side of Ludo. With a generous riding style showcased by the cameras, he exhibits a quirky sense of humour. Ludo never shies away from a unique set-up, often enhanced with smoke, sparks, eco-friendly dyes, or (un)surprisingly eccentric outfits. He doesn't play a part – it's just "Ludo" being himself. Serious but never taking himself too seriously. How could you not be a fan of his mullet or his remakes of Dumb & Dumber? The creativity of Nicolas Falquet and Ludo May really hits the mark! These videos are elevated by carefully composed shots.
