Martina Cumerlato

My name is Martina Cumerlato, I am 27 years old and I come from a small village at the foot of the Pasubio massif. In 2020, I obtained my trilingual degree in industrial and mechanical engineering in Bolzano. After my studies, I moved to Ortisei, in Val Gardena, where I currently live and work as a full-stack web developer.

Sport has always been part of my life. I started playing football when I was 7 and continued passionately into my early twenties. Afterwards, I chose a different path, leaving the football pitches behind and moving closer to the mountains.

Seven years ago, I discovered trail running. What began as a simple passion quickly became a true way of life. Exploring new trails every day and experiencing a new sense of freedom pushed me to dream bigger and set ambitious goals. A year later, I took up ski mountaineering, making winter a new field for challenge and progress.

I am always looking to push my limits, both as an athlete and as a person.
