Philipp Reiter
To be ready at the right moment
- Country
Germany
Although still very young (he was born in 1991), Philipp Reiter has already had two lives, incredible as it may seem. The Bavarian was initially one of the best German athletes on the national ski mountaineering team. With a strong heart and big lungs, Philipp whipped across mountains at incredible speeds and was ranked in the world’s top 6 ski mountaineers in the early 2010s. The rest of the year, the skier metamorphosed into a trail runner and won several alpine skyrunning races.
Used to being in the spotlight and in front of the cameras, he then decided to move to the other side of the lens and devote himself to the world of the image. He became a mountain photographer and dedicated himself to telling the stories of high-altitude sports, always with a great passion for anything related to trail running and mountaineering. He also founded his own creative agency, The Adventure Bakery, with another well-known photographer in the world of trail running, Jordi Saragossa. And since he’s always in incredible shape, it’s not unusual to see him running alongside athletes in a race to photograph or interview them, miniature camera in hand!

His motto? “Being ready at the right time.” Philipp continues to train and maintain a very high level in the mountains so that he can keep up with the best athletes of the day. He also pursues more personal projects, combining his creativity with adventures in the mountains.
