Originally from a small mountain village in the Valle Brembana, he grew up with a deep conviction that the mountains would always be at the heart of his life. At a very young age, he discovered sport as a way to explore, to experience, and to connect with his environment: first through cross-country skiing, then ski mountaineering, before naturally turning to trail running.
He has always been driven by the same motivation: to roam the mountains and discover new horizons. In winter, skis become his natural means of expression; in summer, it is the trails and trail shoes that continue this quest for freedom. From this visceral passion came competitions, followed by several years spent as part of the Italian national ski mountaineering team.

Having settled in Courmayeur at the foot of Mont-Blanc a few years ago, he now works as a glaciologist for the Montagna Sicura Foundation. Living in the heart of this legendary environment represents for him the fulfilment of a childhood dream.
It is also from Courmayeur that he has achieved some of his greatest sporting accomplishments: in 2025, the record for ascent and ski descent of Mont-Blanc from Chamonix, and then in 2026, the record for the legendary Haute Route alongside Mathéo Jacquemoud, the iconic ski mountaineering traverse linking Chamonix to Zermatt.
His journey reflects an authentic vision of the mountains, where achievement is fuelled above all by curiosity, instinct, and a profound respect for the alpine environment.
