Panoramic lens, polarized HD lenses
Sea spray, headwinds, long hours at the helm: the panoramic single-lens shield covers your entire field of vision and its venting limits fogging. The polarized SPECTRON HD 3 lenses cut glare on the water and optimize colour perception, so you can read the water better with less eye strain. They are made in Saint-Claude, in the Jura, from bio-circular polycarbonate. Tested by Tom Laperche and Franck Cammas, winners of the Transat Café L'OR 2025.
Recycled carbon and bio-sourced front
The temples are handcrafted in Quimper from the carbon of MerConcept ocean racing yachts: production offcuts and damaged parts. They keep the lightness and strength of the original carbon. The front is injection-moulded in plant-based Rilsan®, a flexible and tough material.
Designed and made in France and Europe
The entire production chain is based in France and Europe: design and testing at MerConcept in Concarneau, design and lens fitting in Longchaumois (Jura), carbon recycling in Quimper, lenses made in Saint-Claude, moulds in Oyonnax, recycled-textile case made in Bourg-en-Bresse by a social reintegration workshop, Jura wood box. Frame injection and temple assembly take place in Deva, Romania.

OFFSHORE KARBON comes in a Jura wood box, with its recycled-textile case made in France and a bracelet cut from a MerConcept carbon offcut, bearing the Julbo x MerConcept logo. A box to keep or to give, like sunglasses born on the water.

Born from an exclusive collaboration between Julbo and MerConcept, Offshore Karbon brings the world of offshore racing to a technically advanced pair of sunglasses. The temples are handcrafted from carbon fiber recovered from MerConcept racing sailboats, using offcuts or damaged components. They combine lightness and strength to support sailors in action. The single vented lens offers panoramic vision, while bio-circular polycarbonate lenses featuring SPECTRON HD technology enhance color perception and help you see your surroundings more clearly. Built for demanding conditions at sea, these sunglasses deliver a secure, stable fit. Designed and produced primarily in France, they feature exclusive branding from both brands and come with a sturdy, hand-sewn case.
