THE ALPINE CONNECTION

LAUNCHER x Tim McChesney

From the slopes of Bridger Bowl, Montana, to the snowfields of Alta, Utah, Tim McChesney embodies the true spirit of freeskiing.

During a journey across the Alps alongside four Julbo athletes — Konsti Ottner, Léo Slemett, Sam Anthamatten, and Antti Ollila — he shared intense and unforgettable moments. Moments he chose to capture in images for the exclusive LAUNCHER Family Series collaboration with Julbo.

Tim McChesney

Born and raised in the heart of Montana’s mountains, Tim has built a career defined by style, creativity, and fearless commitment. Equally at home pushing the limits of freestyle or taking on the steepest, most technical lines, he stands as one of the most respected skiers of his generation.

INNSBRUCK, AUSTRIA

Konstantin Ottner

Hailing from Bavaria’s Allgäu region, Konsti Ottner has built his life around skiing. Based in Innsbruck, he transitioned from ski instructor to Freeride World Tour athlete thanks to standout performances. Known for his fluid and fast style, he overcame injuries to become an inspiring figure of modern freeride. Today, he shares his passion through films and expeditions, driven by the same spirit: freedom, adventure, and the joy of riding together.

CHAMONIX, FRANCE

Léo Slemett

Born in Chamonix, Léo Slemett moved from alpine skiing to freestyle, inspired by Candide Thovex and Aurélien Ducroz. He joined the Freeride World Tour at 20 and became World Champion in 2017 thanks to his bold, creative style. Today, through freeride, mountaineering, and exploration, he draws his lines like stories — blending instinct, precision, and passion across the mountains of the world.

ZERMATT, SWITZERLAND

Samuel Anthamatten

Born in Zermatt, Samuel Anthamatten is a true mountain man. A skier since childhood, he developed an early taste for adventure and freedom. A former high-level guide and climber, he made his mark on the Freeride World Tour, becoming Vice World Champion in 2011. Today, balancing mountaineering, extreme skiing, and exploration, he embodies the essence of freeride: commitment, passion, and respect for the mountains.

LEYSIN, SWITZERLAND

Antti Ollila

Born in 1994 in Rovaniemi, Finland, Antti Ollila first discovered skiing on a small local hill before turning freestyle into his passion. Self-taught and creative, he developed a unique style all his own. After the X Games and the 2014 Sochi Olympics, he left competition to focus on filmmaking and artistic expression. Today, he conveys his vision of skiing as pure, free-flowing art — guided by one idea: the simple joy of the ride.
